Many Missionary Kids from East Africa crave triangle or square shaped fried Mandazi(s) for breakfast or a snack – especially with a bit of asali (honey)! Pray today for new missionaries and MK’s in East Africa as they adjust to the differences, changes, challenges and lack-ofs in their new home. Pray for peace, joy and a deep sense of being where God wants them as they miss family, friends, and their old, familiar ways of doing things, including enjoying favorite foods, such as an American ‘mandazi’ - Krispie Kremes and Dunkin Donuts – or even a sticky gooey Cinnabun!
