A peaceful scene, yet many residents of this area lack peace. Searching the internet for ‘cattle rustling, East Africa’, one recommended article* begins, “Cattle rustling, a centuries old tradition in parts of East Africa, has escalated this year.”  Written in late 1986, these words could begin current reports from any East African country!  Those affected by cattle rustling, which results in death and destruction far beyond stolen animals, also lack another kind of peace. They often live in hard-to-reach, difficult-to-live places – home for many Unreached People Groups who lack the peace of the creator of the Great Rift Valley!
