Missionaries often pray Colossians 4:3,
“that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ”, omitting the phrase
“for which I am in chains.” Pray for wisdom and comfort for workers with an open door among Sub-Saharan African Peoples, but the
chains of illness or unrest in their countries prevent them from living among their people.
