"Walking out our gate… Twinkling stars and flashlights… avoiding puddles, wet mud, manure… ducking at an entrance and wrong turns… praying for healing, food and protection for those at the cattle camp… clapping hands, snapping fingers, jumping up and down, marching in celebration, and lifting hands because ‘Jesus is Lord’… retelling old stories and telling new stories of God’s desires for His children and His promises… praying for good memories of stories and for rain... wandering through sleeping goats, between houses, around cows and more manure... viewing many, many stars and thinking of God’s faithfulness... reaching our gate and returning home.”
