New Testament story viewed last weekend:
“Saw today how some, without jobs, give their tithe: 2 bunches of bananas (first fruits from their produce). What does an East Africa church in the 21st century do with this? Auction them off of course and add the money to the offering! During the auction the amount went past what one would pay in the grocery store… The members then combined their money to increase the amount for the bananas and gave them as a gift to my hubby. I will make banana bread to share with the church… High attendance today: 27+ adults and 10 children."
