This HINDU NEW YEAR post at prayforgujarat* offers more nudges to action:
The Hindu New Year, called by many names around India, is celebrated during April 11-16 this year, on the first day of the month called Chaitra. This time is full of celebrations all centered on newness, prosperity, and fresh beginnings. Pray for the Hindus of South Asia to welcome the newness of life that Jesus Christ offers us through His death and resurrection long ago. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them…” (2 Corinthians 5:17-19)
