As East African teens and university students prepared for their church’s first Mission’s Sunday Parade of Flags, many younger kids, drawn by the colour and the excitement of their older friends, slipped out of the service to watch. The ‘foreign’ missionary observing all of this was also excited! She knew the flag bearers had already made mission trips within their city or among Unreached Peoples, which meant they were fellow workers in our Father’s Harvest Field. She also knew from personal experience that the little kids may remember this event as the day they began dreaming of serving as missionaries!
