These Maasai were not preparing for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, but competing in the 2nd Annual Maasai Olympics/ Discipleship/ Storying! God was at work last month during this time of sports, discipleship and evangelism led by volunteers in Tanzania and He will also be at work during the Winter Olympics. They miss family and friends, sleepovers, ‘real’ school’… church in their language, sports… Reminding myself and them that God knows and cares about our hurts and wants to give us joy in the midst of the pain. Asking The Lord to give His joy and peace to their little hearts tonight!”

Can you imagine having never heard the stories of Jesus and his part in his Father’s gift of eternal life? This describes the 430,000 Maninka people of Senegal. Pray that Believers in neighbouring countries and in other parts of or world will respond to our Father’s call to share his Good News with this people who lack our Father’s peace and joy.

“They were cut to the heart and said… ‘what shall we do?’” (Acts 2:37 - the crowds’ reaction to Peter’s testimony at Pentecost.) Does it cut to your heart that of the 2,826 people groups in Sub-Saharan Africa, less than 2% of 1,762 peoples are evangelical Christians and 573 peoples are hearing no testimony of our Good News? “What shall we do?” Answers offered below in comments.

Human Exploitation – Is there any good news in this world-wide problem filled with people without hope who have been abused, betrayed, rejected and exploited by others? YES, there are Believers speaking up for these people with no voice; there are Believers sharing their Good News with these people; there are also ways you can “speak up for those who have no voice.”
