What brings you joy? For these boys, it was having their photo taken. The disciples, even during persecution, were filled with joy when “The word of the Lord spread through the whole region" (Acts 13:49-32). Claim Psalm 5:11 for God’s workers among Sub-Saharan African Peoples today. Pray that they will be filled with His joy and know His protection as they share His good news.

Praise from young couple in language study: “While we do not always feel like we are making progress while in class, we can see a huge difference every week in our ability to understand and communicate in Wolof with our Senegalese neighbors, friends, and new acquaintances. These relationships are growing as deep and as fast as our language will permit, which provides great motivation to keep learning.”

“Come on, did that leader accept Christ?”  A comment asked after last Friday’s post seeking prayer for a leader of another faith in need of opening “his heart to the one who casts out evil spirits.” We don’t know and may never know!  Pray for “great endurance and patience” (Colossians 1:11) for those praying for and for those planting seeds among unreached Sub-Saharan African Peoples.
UPDATE from workers whose story was shared last Friday (Feb 28): Hey, our local imam did not (yet) accept Christ (as per your reader's question). In fact he has successfully avoided us for a week - a difficult task in a small village where he is our nearest neighbor! We hope people will still pray for him.

What can a volunteer group accomplish in a few days when they answer, "Here am I. Send me!" (Isaiah 6:8) and go to minister among unreached Sub-Saharan African Peoples? One group in Lesotho, reports: “Tons of stories of God’s faithfulness, tons of pictures… 2000 patients given medical care and tons of mountain Basotho heard the gospel, some for the very first time.”
